Fellow comedians have described Tony as the Asian Chris Rock, even calling him “Chris Wok.” Not because his delivery can sometimes sound like the legendary comedian, but because his comedy offers a similarly sharp, clever and absurd commentary on life and current events – only from the point of view of an Asian-American who grew up in Kansas. Yes, Kansas.
Today, Tony resides in Los Angeles but performs at clubs and rooms everywhere as a nationally touring comedian. He has also performed internationally in Asia and Europe, and is consistently a crowd favorite at festivals. He is currently working on a book of personal essays titled, "No Subtitles Needed," and you can hear him weekly on his podcast, The Late Night Food Club.
